Not all explicit material is abysmal. If it is a fictional, written, or drawn account of man and a woman having sex as God intended it, then it is still acceptable, especially if the couple are married like, say, in Step Up Love Story. After all for He did say to us to go forth and multiply, and we do have the Song of Songs in the gospel as well.
I have seen a lot before, but I am astonished at how perverted things are on Poast or the connected Mastodon protocol servers. But I guess seeing that is my punishment for even searching by hash tags where I shouldn't.

This sounds like more narrative control business- keeping people from seeing previous narratives and such. It looks like they had a 20% increase in traffic over the past month. I wonder if it's just the election bringing people in. |

As for narrative control that's the most logical explanation, heard some people comparing this to Twitter but there's no age restriction there on posts, only a requirement to have an account. I remember seeing some people saying last night that a lot of the back catalogue of 4chan got nuked as well. I haven't confirmed it myself. That makes me think TPTB are doing an internet scrub to remove a lot of "unwanted posts." gab limiting what people can see in the past is a nice way to scrub what the more undesirable users posted in the past...if that is the case.

Free speech is unfortunately only propaganda everywhere in the world. We have to do what we can to get away with saying what needs to be said. I guess they also want to memory hole the COVID debacle now it is very clear everyone involved was incompetent at least.
Also I am back on X and it is a completely different place from Twitter. A lot more free than before.

I've seen some weird shit on Fedi, it's not Poast, maybe try NCD they're more tightly controlled on who they federate with and ban porn, I remember once I searched the #medea to try and find art of Fate's version of her (If you didn't know she's my PFP), and found some weird bestality art on some other federated instance (not of her, of some other character sharing the name). I think it's an inherent problem with alternative places. You get people who don't fit the mainstream. Sometimes that's a good thing. Sometimes it's not.
