I just didn't find it very fun. It was like being on reddit if it were Nazis spazzing out instead of lefties spazzing out.
I also didn't like the meaningless scrolling.
Plus, it's far to easy to look at ecchi or H when browsing at work.

I saw you had left, and got a bit worried.

I saw you had left, and got a bit worried. Thank you. I figured anyone concerned could see me here. So, I made a thread about it. It really wasn't my thing. I could have made a Poast about it, but it would disappear when I did. For the record, you posted gold-quality material.

I didn't see much "spazzing" on Poast, was it the Trevor and Radio-Chan thing? Also Hentai has an NSFW filter there

I didn't see much "spazzing" on Poast, was it the Trevor and Radio-Chan thing? Also Hentai has an NSFW filter there Nah. It wasn't that thing. It didn't help. It's just that I found that tone to be pretty prevalent there. The local tab was pretty much Nazi spam and hentai. I also didn't block hentai, because I check it out here and there. On the Nazi thing you can only hear someone spam, "kill black," or "kill Jews" so many times before it gets annoyingly repetitive. @ ツイン スモール Urufu Thanks. I guess I thought it would be different from other social media, but it was really quite a lot like Twitter or Reddit in terms of the base. Same style, different topics.

I meant full hentai requires an NSFW label though there's alot more ecchi then I expected lol

Unfortunately, a lot of censored posts don't explain why. Then, you click, and bam, porn. Either way, I don't think the dopamine-fueled scroll is for me. That said, I've been growing increasingly despondent in regard to the online space. It seems like nearly everything is either socially/politically charged or purely corporate. The net I grew up with is long gone.

Yeah I can totally see how Poast would be an acquired taste. I just use my timeline to follow the people I want to follow and leave it there. I don't see much ecchi, and definitely zero H stuff. Luckily we still have this little joint (despite my inconsistent use of it, although I just got fired so I may have more time now hahaha).

I could just follow people I know, but there's not a whole lot of content there. Plus, I didn't get much interaction out of what I posted. The whole thing was just too forced for me, so to speak. I dislike modern social media quite a lot. It promotes very superficial interaction. Why did you get fired? Was it layoffs?

We have small overheads, so employees are on the chopping block. I was one of 3 that got the axe, which sucks for everyone bc I'm literally the ONLY creative services guy in the entire company. Literally no one left knows how to do anything I do (from web design and maintenance to graphic design, etc). I have 3.5 weeks and 3 more paychecks to find something else before I end up in "homeless family" territory.

That sucks. I'm sorry to hear it. It's happening in a lot of places. My company has had like 2-3 layoffs over the past 2 years or so. It's rough out there and may get worse.
When you say "homeless family" do you mean your family will be on the streets, or that you'll have to move in with family?

The net I grew up with is long gone. That's something "fun" about the modern web, Most "apolitical" spaces are FILLED with fags, I used to use Reddit and it's 40K communities are despite supposedly being apolitical have this issue with people painting up faggot models constantly and god fucking forbid you complain. Speaking of 40K IRL isn't safe either, the only stores anywhere near me (and still it's quite the drive) are in a very faggy area so just not compatible, Literal fucking commies and fags everywhere so even before I was the National Socialist I am today I had issues, they'd sperg over me buying used minis as the prices are FAR better so I said I wished the store priced matched Amazon and the fat ruskie red in charge sperged at me and so did the rest, calling a pedo trannie "Shrek" on an FB page I followed (have deleted my account but it was Techno Barbarian Posting IIRC if anyone cares), and calling female space marines Heresy, getting sperged at over that was the last straw for me there, then the one I tried post covid was also a fucking mess, fag flag on the wall, and dyke nights, got banned there after due to being a bit of a tard they found my Gab and another store also banned me for that lol Attachments:

Cute space marine, despite being noncanon...or at least it shouldn't be.
Where do you live, anyway? Washington or California? I rarely see social/political stuff in stores.

When you say "homeless family" do you mean your family will be on the streets, or that you'll have to move in with family? Thanks man. Yeah it's crazy, especially in my industry. Companies like mine are the first ones on the chopping block, so when we lose clients have have zero overheads, employees go first. It sucks, but that's business. Yeah if we can't pay rent, we'll be out. Just gotta find something new before that occurs.
