I find that I enjoy the bishoujo warrior type of anime with pretty girls and hyper than hype fight scenes that leave you on edge (even if characters rarely die).
I enjoyed Queen's Blade (season 2 in particular), Samurai Girls, Valkyrie Drive (despite how gay it was), the Senran Kagura anime (well, the first season), and Kill la Kill. I tried some of Ikki Tousen, but the characters just felt too flat.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Only one I've seen was Claymore, can't comment on it's ending as I switched to the Manga where it split (ends half way thorugh and the last few episodes are original), Really liked it though, would highly recommend. Attachments:

I've heard good things about it in general. Sometimes I like the anime better than the manga version. Sometimes it's the other way around. I might give the anime another shot. I tried it a long time ago and didn't get very far. However, it might be time to try again. |

The anime makes a 2 episode ending arc at the half way point (which as I said, I skipped and went to the manga) Attachments:

I'm awful at describing things, so I'll just say it takes from Berserk and The Witcher, as for anime and Manga, it's probably better just reading it of the 2, as the second half of it is really good and quite the shake up from the first. I don't know if I've heard of any of these, but big thanks. I'll have to keep this list in mind. I particularly like the look of the artstyle in the Freezing promo image. I enjoy the stuff where you have a ton of girls in epic battles. |
