I am an absolute simp for a good highschool SoL romance. I absolutely adore the choice of retro art style. It is refreshing not to have enormous Moe eyes all the time and the plot is super comfs.  |

Is this a consistent drop rate, or does it increase/decrease over time? My drop rate was 45%... but due to watching more OVAs (which are also crap, but fun crap) the completed numbers have gone up faster than the drop numbers. I am still dropping more seasonals than previous years. I don't try to watch anime just to drop it. If it looks like it could be worth watching, I give it a try. If it's no good, I drop it. I don't have time to watch things I don't want to. I blame Madoka for this... because I bypassed it for a year since I thought it was a typical magical girl show for 10yo girls (nope). Now I just try pretty much anything so I don't miss the next "gem". Unfortunately anime of the past couple years has not been very good. |

Okay. 3 episodes into Metallic Rouge and this stuff is good. It's obviously HEAVILY inspired by Western scifi. I love anime that love Western media. It's like you get the best of both worlds.

Finished the gunsmith cat’s anime not too long ago. I liked it. Playing the Fist of the Northstar video game made me wanna go back and watch old anime. But damn some of these feels like a slog sometimes. On the newer end I’ve been watching Frieren, Metallic Rouge and Jojo. Attachments:

Finished the gunsmith cat’s anime not too long ago. I liked it. Playing the Fist of the Northstar video game made me wanna go back and watch old anime. But damn some of these feels like a slog sometimes. On the newer end I’ve been watching Frieren, Metallic Rouge and Jojo. Gunsmith Cats is so cool. On the topic of a "slog" that I still think was worth it, I really enjoyed Noir.  |

I even went and bought a bunch of Darkhorse's publishings of the manga to comic after seeing the OVAs. The comics/manga are just as good as the OVAs. |

Re-mentioning JJK, since we're approaching the end of s2 right now. Story is pretty damn good for a shonen, and they're not afraid to pull a "Game of Thrones" and kill off secondary characters, or even slightly attempt to kill the MC. Really enjoying it so far. Animation definitely won't be everyone here's cup of tea, but it's smooth at least. I've seen WAY shittier animation (*cough*studioDeen*cough*).

For whatever reason... I am watching ALL of Resident Evil.
4D Executor sure is janky... but at least it's interesting enough (and short).
Incubate ... wow... it's like watching video game cutscenes and calling it a movie. So bad lol.
Degeneration is a huge quality bump.
