Thanks for the tip. I will try it if and when it is available on Switch. It has a good amount of replay value with NG+ and unlockable characters. It's not the world's greatest, but it is fun.

I looked in the switch shop but it looks like the omnia is the only Phantom Breaker available right now. Let's hope they release it on Switch later.

It's probably digital only. Apparently the Switch version has additional content, which is cool. The title is Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Overdrive .

Is your account in Japanese for JP games? If so, that might be the issue. It may require a NA/EU account.

Making multiple accounts was interesting, because the sales are different. I'm buying a 25$ game for 7$ just because it is for sale in one regio and not the other.

Yes it does. I was actually still on my non Japanese account, but now on the Japanese account I can download and play Phantasy Star Online 2 for free (until the end of the demo I suppose a subscription will be needed later).

That's pretty neat. I assume a lot of them also have English text options due to wanting to see to other parts of Asia.

I am now playing the Switch version of Rabi-Ribi. Whole it is clearly an indie game with mediocre art, the anime character portrait are great. The gameplay is a fun mix of metroidvania and bullet hell. It is pretty large also m, I didn't finish it yet. The game is amusing and upbeat, with lighthearted and cathing music. While I got it at 30% off, I would not mind to pay full price for this game.
Before that I played "blasphemous" because it was only 5$. So it does have the standard horror nuns who try to kill you with censers. But they are cowards so they invented a fake religion to criticize, so it isn't real blasphemy. A better title for the game would be "pretentious" or "tedious". While the pixel art is very detailed, the game doesn't allow you to enjoy it, and the Spanish guitar music everywhere is ridiculous.

I loved Rabi Ribi. I thought it was fun and had good music. I also like how massive the map is (bigger than Super Metroid). That said, I feel like the post-game content (which is basically another game of content) is more of a slog than fun at times.
